Thank you! Im really excited to use this at Anime Expo next year :D Anyway I bought the Skull head at an auto body shop named O'rileys. It is actually a gear shift. If you cain't find one at an auto body shop you can order one on Ebay. I bought the Dowel Rod at Home Depot. I was lucky because the skull head and the dowel rod fit perfectly together. If they don't you can easily sand down the rod to make them fit. I then bought spray paint and ribbon at Michaels craft store (you could probably buy the dowel rod there to) And painted the rod, which dried really fast, and then screwed the skull head on with tiny screw that it came with. Then I just tied the bow. I hoped this helps and good luck with your cosplay!

A gear shift, huh? I'd never even thought of that! xD Thanks so much, because I've been trying to figure out what to do for the past while now. I was getting disappointed because I wanted to have the skull cane instead of the plain one and couldn't figure out what to do. Now that you've told me this, though, I might actually have a hope! ;D Thank you! ^^

I don't know if you have the ring yet [I've got mine, or what you were planning to do about it, but I figured that in exchange for your info I'll give you mine ;] There's of course a few places online to buy the ring pre-made, but the places I found charged $10 and were made of 'metal' [they didn't actually specify what kind of metal, which I found a little disconcerting]. What I ended up doing instead was going to an antique shop, where I found a sterling silver ring in exactly the right size with a flat part on top [it looks like it was probably a family ring, 'cause it had an engraved letter on the square part]. I just bought a box of square blue acrylic jewels at Michael's and used jewelry glue to stick it on. It actually looks pretty good, considering the fact that I got the ring for $2 and the jewels were about a dollar. ;] I've been meaning to post a picture of it, but I keep forgetting. I'll get to it eventually ^^

Thanks again for the information! ^^

Yeah. A gear shift. who'da thunk it huh? I thought during halloween time their be a lot of stuff I could get for my cosplay (including a skull for my cane) but i never found anything.

And wow thanks :3 I actually do not have the ring. I kept wanting to buy one but I just didn't know what size to get. I have leather half-palmed gloves I bought for my cops lay and I don't know if the ring with fit over them. I actually bought a ring holder and a gem from Joann fabrics. The only problem now is figuring out how to glue them together :nuu: Lol. Anyway Im really glad I could help. If you do finish the cane, you should post a picture of it up on deviant art so I could see it. And the ring too! Thanks :)

I'll have to go out and see if I can find something somewhere lol ^^ There are enough car mod places around where I live [with the type of people here, it isn't unexpected xD]

I used jewelry glue for the ring o: I couldn't tell you where to buy it, seeing as I borrowed it from my sister who makes jewelry lol. My best guess would be Michael's, though. You could always try super glue xD
I'll have to take pictures of my ring, after I glue it back together xD [It's not that it wasn't stuck on there properly or anything, I was just bored and started picking at it, so it got pulled off by accident] ^^

Thanks again lol [:
